Color Me Random.
First off, my husband is hot. My dryer? It’s been broken for about 6 months. It was taking 2 1/2 hours to dry one load of laundry. If you do the math, that doesn’t leave too much time in the day for laundry since I only do laundry between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm. I’m lazy like that.
So Greg grabbed his toolbox last Saturday and had a little look-see. Within hours he had it working again. My own personal Handy Manny. So. Hot.
I guess this means I have no excuse NOT to do the laundry.
Second, I want to tell you about Tuesday Spin Class. I had never been to Tuesday Spin Class until yesterday, which was Tuesday just in case you weren’t sure. I adjusted my bike seat and hopped on. The music started pumping and we all started spinning. All the sudden Tuesday Spin Class Instructor stopped spinning. She was looking at one of the participants. “Are you eating a Twinkie?” she asks incredulously. We all turn our heads to look. “No,” this guy casually tells her, mouth full. “It’s a Hostess Cupcake.” Tuesday Spin Instructor starts to say something, then thinks better of it. She gives him a wry smile.
Yesterday I giggled all day long because of this. Who eats a Hostess Cupcake while spinning? Tee hee hee.
Third, I bought my kids Kraft Singles. I’m not sure why since I don’t even like them myself, but it seems like something that every kid should at least try one time in their life. I made them ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch. I’ve NEVER seen them eat the whole thing ever ever ever until today. And then A-Boy asked for another piece of cheese. I brought one to the table, unwrapped it and handed it to him. “SQUARE CHEESE?” He said. The concept just blew him away. Mini-Man yelled “Shee Shee Shee” until I got him some Square Cheese too. “Mmm,” he quietly said to himself. Nothing like overprocessed nastiness to brighten up the mundane.
Fourth, I get to go see Alicia tomorrow! In Arizona! I’m so excited!!!! Could I use any more exclaimation points!!!! I put fake tanning stuff on today so I could fit in with the locals. I may even paint my toenails for the occasion. I’ve never been to Arizona. I was excited to learn that the whole state turned the heat down for the weekend just for me. Highs in the 80s, baby. I’m way excited.
I’m sure I’ll be back with dazzling tales of our adventures. And I’m pretty darn excited to hear about all the adventures Greg is going to have as he is alone with the boys for four days. *insert evil laughter here*
Have a good one!

That’s my kind of spin class….I’d totally go if they provided cupcakes.
It was so fun to see you!!! Could you please move here so that I have a shopping buddy everytime I go? I like making random shoppers laugh at us. Plus, Ben & Jerry’s doesn’t taste as good without you.
